Silicon microtechnology for high-precision components – From prototyping to production readiness
Silicon technology is known for offering unprecedented precision and repeatability, as well as the potential for low-cost mass production. At Fraunhofer IMM, we apply silicon technology to manufacture components that, due to the required mechanical precision or integrated functional elements, are needed to enable solutions that cannot be achieved with any other technology.
Within this webinar, we show you some success stories where collaboration with industrial and scientific partners have led to components which already make a difference in space technology for satellites, high-tech measurement components for fusion technology, but as well in everyday industrial applications like leak detection.
