Progressing cavity pumps offer numerous advantages. Due to their highly robust design, they are suitable for various industrial and hygienic applications. Depending on the application, the pumps are faced with different media. Accordingly, the wear can also vary greatly. NETZSCH Pumps & Systems has developed a concept that continuously and optimally adjusts the preload between the rotor and stator fully automatically. This extends the service life of your pump by up to three times and reduces energy consumption by up to 30 percent.

Corrosive or abrasive media puts most pump systems under extreme stress. The rotor-stator unit, in particular, is often affected. The rough particles of some media have a similar effect to sandpaper. Due to the resulting abrasion on the stator and also the rotor, the sealing line between the two continuously deteriorates. With increasing wear, the performance of your pump decreases significantly. In addition, maintenance and service costs increase with every stator and rotor change. To counteract this, NETZSCH has developed a unique system. With the help of a fully automated adjustment unit, which continuously tightens the iFD-Stator® 2.0, optimal pump performance is guaranteed, and the service life is increased simultaneously.
